Position: Project Manager - Inventory Control

Location: Regina, SK

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week

Contract Length: Initially 3 months, with possibility of extensions

Start Date: Mid-June

Description: We are seeking a qualified Project Manager to oversee the integration of a new inventory control system, specifically JD Edwards, for our client. This role will involve coordinating various aspects of the implementation process to ensure a smooth transition and optimal functionality of the system.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the implementation of the new inventory control system, JD Edwards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external partners as needed to support the implementation process.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status and key milestones.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure proper understanding and utilization of the new system.
  • Oversee post-implementation activities, including system testing, troubleshooting, and support.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing projects related to inventory control system implementations.
  • Demonstrated expertise with JD Edwards or similar inventory management software.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, manage timelines, and mitigate risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project management.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
