The Peri Peri Shack, a rapidly growing and innovative flame-grilled chicken brand successfully established in Vancouver with four thriving locations, is expanding to Toronto We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our first Ontario restaurant and play a vital role in maintaining our high standards as we continue to grow.

What You’ll Do

As General Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with brand standards and delivering exceptional customer experiences while fostering a positive team environment. Key responsibilities include:

- Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage a motivated and high-performing restaurant team.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, integrity, and excellence.
- Lead by example to inspire staff to achieve operational and customer service goals.
- Brand & Operations Management
- Ensure strict compliance with The Peri Peri Shack’s brand standards and operational policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the restaurant.
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to maintain efficiency and reduce waste.
- Health & Food Safety
- Implement and oversee food safety protocols, ensuring all staff follow best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, protecting team and guest wellbeing.
- Financial Management
- Manage food and labor costs, maintaining profitability while achieving operational targets.
- Analyze sales reports and identify opportunities to enhance performance.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience (Quick Service or Full Service).
- Skills: Strong leadership abilities with experience managing food safety and operational compliance.
- Attention to Detail: Commitment to cleanliness, integrity, and maintaining brand standards.
- Passion: Dedication to providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
- Availability: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
