**PROFILE**

The EPMO team is currently looking for a Business Analyst on a six (6) month contract. As a Business Analyst you will report directly to the Director, Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) and will be empowered to work on business-driven transformation projects across all Gowling WLG offices. The Business Analyst will bridge the gap between functional areas and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data driven recommendations and reports.

The EPMO is a high performance team that drives collaboration with project stakeholders to help achieve the Firm’s business objectives through quality project delivery.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead requirements gathering efforts and conduct Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, focus groups and personal interviews to capture business and technical requirements.
- Capture, define, document, and maintain clear and accurate detailed process diagrams and documentation including business requirements, and use case documentation.
- Manage feature delivery with scrum boards and facilitate development scrum meetings.
- Effectively elicit and document concise business driven requirements with Business Process Management (BPM) workflow specifications.
- Manage established requirements and testing signoff procedures throughout the project lifecycle and report on and track project testing milestones/deliverables.
- Manage project requirements development and execution from beginning to end, while monitoring the dependencies on the critical path with Project Managers.
- Proactively manage issue logs including changes in requirements while identifying potential crises, and devise contingency plans with Project Managers.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 5-7 years working as a project management Business Analyst on a variety of technologies preferably in a professional services environment.
- Business Analysis certificate training.
- Strong stakeholder/relationship management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
- Ability to deliver exceptional client service.
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project or any PPM tool.
