JMP is currently looking for a Payroll Manager to join our finance team. This role will be responsible ensuring the accuracy of US and Canadian payroll. You will work closely with employees supporting any inquires, as well as ensuring compliance.

**What Would a Typical Day Look Like?**
- Reviewing and ensuring accuracy of US and Canadian payroll
- Overseeing payroll process
- Resolving payroll inquires in a timely manner
- Supporting with benefits
- Overseeing payroll administrator
- Manage payroll remittances including annual reconciliations (EHT, WSIB, state and local taxes)
- Reconciling payroll and posting related journal entries as part of month end close

**What Qualifies You for this Opportunity?**
- 10+ years’ experience in progress payroll positions
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline
- Certified with the Canadian Payroll Association or equivalent highly desired
- Experience with Canadian and US Payroll
- Knowledge of standard payroll systems
- Extremely detail oriented
- A polished professional with a strong sense of urgency
- A superior communicator (both oral and written)
- Dedicated and highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a demanding environment
- Demonstrated ability to take charge and work with little supervision and guidance
