GEC Residence provides safe, clean, and easily accessible living accommodations for international and local students studying in Metro Vancouver. Our conveniently located residences are situated near transportation hubs, shops and offer a variety of room types, all fully furnished, with access to both private and shared living spaces and amenities.

GEC is looking for a Community Coordinator to oversee the residential buildings.

Location: Vancouver

Acting as GEC brand ambassador, communicate effectively with tenants to maintain relationships, manage requests, and handle all complaints in a timely, professional manner

Responding to resident complaints, issues, and scheduling repairs to be completed in a timely manner

Identifies when repairs or maintenance are required and complete repairs accordingly

Performing minor maintenance as needed which doesn’t not require skilled trade

Handling move-in/move-out and enforce lease agreement terms on the ground

Organizing new tenant orientation

Scheduling and performing condition inspection

Enforcing and administering building and GEC policies as instructed by GEC and Property Manager

Providing relief to building caretaker of our buildings

Assisting with purchasing order requests

Manage and supervise contractors on site.

Manage key fob systems for the rental apartments, maintain supply inventory

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Customer service skills a must and knowledge of RTA will be helpful

Handyman skills - a definite asset; some basic skills are necessary

Basic understanding of building operating and mechanical systems

Assertive with the ability to deal with difficult personalities

Multi-tasking and problem-solving

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Good communication skills

A driver’s license is ideal in order to complete some of the responsibilities in this role.

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Every Weekend
