Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Community Therapists team in a Community Physiotherapist role. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-home and community-based assessments, supervising rehab assistants, and developing and overseeing gym and pool-based activation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive in-home and community-based assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Supervise and mentor rehab assistants to ensure high-quality care and support.
- Design and implement gym and pool-based activation programs to promote client independence and mobility.
- Liaise with healthcare teams, including occupational therapists and physicians, to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
- Current membership with the College of Physiotherapists of British Columbia (CPTBC) or eligibility for registration.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Experience with standardized assessments and a strong understanding of community-based care.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse client populations.
- Experience working with insurance payers is an asset.
