Join our team as a Scheduler If you're passionate about planning, scheduling, and coordinating the flow of work within or between departments of a manufacturing plant to expedite production we want to hear from you This role ensures that production schedules are met, and quality standards are maintained.
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet operational goals and customer requirements.
- Coordinate production workflow for multiple products and prioritize operations to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes and resource requirements.
- Monitor production processes and equipment status to ensure timely completion of scheduled tasks.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or production issues.
- Track and report on production performance and KIP’s, identifying areas for improvement.
- Create and update production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
- Communicate production schedules and changes to relevant departments, including production, quality control, and logistics.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems (specifically Dynamics 365) to manage production planning and control.
- Conduct regular meetings with production teams to review schedule adherence and address any bottlenecks.
- Prepare and distribute production reports and performance KPI to Management.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.

**Qualifications Knowledge and Skills**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with the manufacturing processes specific to the plant’s operations such as thermoforming, CNC machining and assembly.
- Strong understanding of production scheduling, planning and control principles.
- Proficiency using ERP/MRP systems, particularly Dynamics 365 an asset.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and principles
