**Team and Position Summary**:
Our Client Services Team (CST) provides exceptional service to our high net worth clients. In this role, you are a member of a collaborative and client-focused team requiring exceptional communication and problem-solving skills in order to provide a high level of administrative service to our clients. The focus of this role is on supporting our CST team members on fulfilling client requests, maintaining client data. This role will also have opportunities to work on projects as they arise. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of a wealth management organization and be a valued member of our close-knit client services team.
This will be an 8-month co-op work term starting in September. The location will be a hybrid of work environment at our Vancouver office.
**As Client Services Co-op, your main responsibilities will include**:
- Supporting the Client Services Team to provide administrative expertise and deliver a high level of personalized client service.
- Supporting the Client Services Team to complete necessary documentation to meet regulatory requirements ensuring all client accounts are compliant.
- Execute on client requests for non-financial changes.
- Liaising with custodians and insurance carriers to execute on client requests in a timely manner; proactively escalating where necessary to ensure strict adherence to SLAs.
- Maintaining client data and performing data integrity checks for quality control.
- Provide back up support to other team members as necessary.
- Actively engage in ongoing learning and development to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
**As Client Services Co-op, your experience and qualifications include**:
- Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of studies in a post-secondary degree or diploma in Finance, Economics or Business.
- Customer service or client relations experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office including MS word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook.
- Experience with a CRM database considered an asset.
- Experience in the financial services industry considered an asset.
- Interest in the financial services industry.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accurate.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- A self-starter with the ability to take initiative and think critically to seek out information and solutions independently.
- Experience working independently, as well as in partnership with other team members.
- The ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced, entrepreneurial environment requiring strong organization, time management and prioritization skills with the confidence to adapt to change as necessary.
