Junior Business Development Associate

Red Thread Innovations is a digital innovation firm with the solitary mission of building meaningful digital products that delight consumers and transform businesses. **Responsibilities**:

- Leverage information in our ICPs to identify potential partners
- Research on the prospective client’s current state, business needs, and time-sensitive opportunities
- Determine the prospect's interest in product ideation, user experience design, and digital product development
- Schedule discovery meetings on behalf of leadership team
- Updating and keeping detailed notes in our CRM
- Work with Director, Growth and product teams to create sales and marketing collateral
- Build a deep understanding of our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
- Search for RFPs opportunities through company websites and industry tools such as

Merx or Biddingo
- Meet with 8-10 sales qualified leads (SQLs) per month

Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow, and excel in their role
- Knowledge of business processes and organizational structures
- Interest in technology and digital product development
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or similar

Assets
- Experience initiating relationships with mid-size and enterprise level clients
- Experience working with technology-based startups
- Familiarity with user experience design, agile methodology, and software engineering
- Ideally 1-3 years of professional experience
