Title: Business Development Associate – Canada/US Reporting to Manager-Business Development-NA
Location: Hybrid Canada/USA (In office 3 days/week)

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Business Development Associate to join our growing team Reporting to the Manager of Business Development NA , the Business Development Associate will be responsible for developing leads to prospects, communicating with potential customers, understanding their needs, and beginning the sales process. We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken individual, someone who can build instant rapport with a proven track record of success in sales.

What you will do:
Communicating with customers (100% outbound calling) to generate qualified consultations.
Help to drive attendance to Venus AI technology showcase events throughout North America.
Cold/warm calling into all US markets to drive meetings and book ASM’s Calendars.
Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
Quickly build rapport with prospective clients and influence the purchase decision.
Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information per email.
Identify decision makers, schedule meetings, meet qualified prospects, and execute appropriate sales techniques.
Track all forms of communications with prospects through corporate CRM system.
Work with the outside sales team to progress the sales process and develop new sales opportunities.
Maintain a high level of understanding of all the Venus Concept products as well as competitive information.

What you will need:
Post-secondary education and 2+years of experience in inside sales or account management.
Medical device/capital equipment sales experience is an asset.
Track record of exceeding targets.
Strong phone presence and related experience.
Highly motivated, results driven, independent thinker, and strong sense of initiative.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, Salesforce).
Excellent interpersonal and team skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritization, and manage time effectively.
Flexibility to cover multiple time zones.
