Position: Financial Accounting Administrator
Discipline: Accounting, Finance Position Type:
Salary Location: Kirkland, Quebec
Shift: Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm
- Daily posting of all payment types in a timely and accurate manner while
working against a tight daily timeline, including working with Operations to
ensure client schedules are adhered to.
- Ensure all funds are deposited/transferred into correct accounts within the
required time frame.
- Ensure daily reconciliation of system postings to bank deposits.
- Ensure all exceptions are notated, logged, and handled timely and in
accordance to client requirements.
- Ensure all queries from Operations have been addressed and resolved daily.
- Daily report generation to departments reflecting all payments received
- Work in a fast paced, high volume environment, with minimum supervision.
- Some hours on Saturdays are required depending on month end
- **Accounting Responsibilities**_:

- Perform accounts payable duties, includes entry into accounting system,
ensuring proper approvals are received and initiating payments to
vendors/clients.
- Maintaining Vendor records and implementation of new vendors
- Monitor and follow-up on aged accounts receivable while communicating
frequently with Client Relations
- Bank reconciliations - daily and monthly tasks.
- Credit Card reconciliations-weekly and monthly tasks
- Assist with Client monthly reconciliation queries from leadership
- Assist with Client Audit Deliverables upon request
- **Desired Experience**:_
- At least 2 years of Bookkeeping, accounting, payment processing or relevant
experience required
- Has a working knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and
procedures within the financial industry
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Has a working knowledge of Excel and Accounting Software (Netsuite is an
asset)
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
