- **WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE**
- Research, monitor and resolve accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Responsible for daily accounting transactions
- Reconcile commissions with business partners as needed
- Prepare general ledger balances and other monthly and annual accounts
- Preparation of monthly reports for analysis, as well as ad hoc management of government bonds (Statscan, GST and QST accounts)
- Contribute to the company's continuous improvement programs, by supporting initiatives in accounting expertise
- Understand the importance of teamwork and maintain courteous communication with team members and internal stakeholders

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL**
- Capable of assisting in most accounting functions as required
- College diploma and / or certificate in accounting / administration
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in accounting
- Strong MS Office skills, including Excel (Vlookups, PivotTables)
- Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities
- Has excellent time management skills and effective problem-solving skills to ensure success
- Communicates well orally and in writing in French and English
- Has an organized and methodical approach
- Has a high level of precision and attention to detail
