**About the role**

Our growing team is looking for a Unit Manager for Operations, Quebec. Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Unit Manager is responsible for the Quebec training team and must provide support to groups of new cohorts, workforce planning, updating content to promote the development of our curriculum, AMF support and the preparation and implementation of PDUs.

The Unit Manager will be expected to work in partnership with colleagues in other provinces and with different stakeholders in the deployment of new initiatives and projects that will affect sales and all operational components. The incumbent is also expected to collaborate on strategic projects.

**What you'll do here**:

- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to create learning objectives specific to company strategies and initiatives to enable employees to acquire the knowledge, skills and behaviors necessary for success in their respective roles.
- Work with internal clients to plan and implement the deployment of new cohorts.
- Manage the design of effective and high-quality learning solutions, manage deadlines and transfer of new cohorts to the new lesson plan.
- Constantly evaluate and analyze the learning and training process in order to optimize and update teaching strategies.
- Manage the implementation of face-to-face meetings and learning solutions using all mediums such as classrooms, e-learning, virtual and blended instruction, teleconferencing, videoconferencing and virtual instructor-led sessions. Ability to produce new content from new mediums.
- Ensure that training materials are updated to ensure that content is always relevant to market developments and changes.
- Represent the company's vision and act as an ambassador within the organization.
- Continuously manage and build a high-performing team focused on commitment and efficiency.

**What you bring to the table**:

- Post-secondary education or professional certification in an appropriate field.
- More than one year of experience in a leadership position.
- Leadership skills and experience required.
- Knowledge of personal property and casualty insurance (auto and home).
- You are recognized for your leadership, your ability to influence and promote the engagement of your employees and partners.
- You have excellent social skills and are used to working collaboratively with other managers and teams.
- You have a strategic vision of change management for a large company.
- You have the ability to challenge the status quo and demonstrate creativity and innovation.
- You demonstrate the ability to plan, organize and manage resources to achieve objectives within the prescribed time frame. You have strong management and problem-solving skills. Ability to quickly prioritize and resolve issues as they arise.
