**Primary Care Clinic Administrative Team Lead**

**Full time (35 hours/week)**

**Maternity leave coverage 18 months contract**

The **Primary Care Clinic Administrative Team Lead** supports the overall day-to-day operations of the clinic (i.e. scheduling, training admin staff, improving workflows, etc.) and supports critical clinic infrastructure as a super-user (i.e. electronic health record, phone system, cultural interpretation system, virtual care tools, etc.). The role also supports the collection of high-quality socio-demographic data, ensuring privacy and confidentiality of all client information, and provide administrative support to leadership. This role is a part of an interdisciplinary primary care team of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, other health professionals and administrative staff.

The role supports both the Clinical Coordinator and the Quality Improvement Analyst/Data Management Consultant.

You are a proactive problem-solver with strong attention to details. You build strong relationships with your colleagues and can be trusted to provide training and support to the clinic admin team. You are someone who takes initiative and jumps in where needed to keep the clinic running smoothly.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary training and/or experience in office management, medical secretarial or a related program.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a Health/Social Services, experience in being a team lead, preferred.
- Proven skills in team building and creating a supportive environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, can build strong relationships
- Good judgement and facilitation skills: conflict management and problem-solving
- Talented trainer and able to identify and fill gaps in training as needed
- Skilled in writing and preparing training materials for staff
- Knowledge and proficiency in scheduling interprofessional teams
- Attention to details and support high quality data collection and reporting
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary and diverse team environment.
- Knowledge of client privacy and confidentiality requirements
- Ability to provide culturally competent service to diverse population of clients
- Proficiency in electronic health records and related portals and functionalities
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, spread sheets, databases, electronic mail and data entry
- Word processing speed of a minimum of 50 w.p.m.
- General knowledge of medical terminology
- Fluent oral and written skills in both English and French; Other languages an asset

**Salary**: $45,154 to $53,125/year plus generous group benefit package. HOOPP (Pension Plan) eligible.
