**Salary**:$24/hour

**Job Type**: Part-Time and Full-Time positions available. Part-Time (5-15 hours/week) and Full-Time (30 hours per week)

**Role Overview**

The Youth Outreach Facilitator’s responsibility is to strengthen facilitation of programs through impactful strategies that create meaningful relationships with youth.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Facilitate engaging youth programs, youth-centered initiatives and violence prevention workshops
- Participate in outreach initiatives and strategies to expand partnerships, workshop requests and youth attraction
- Foster positive relationships with youth through intentional engagement and strategies that identify and address their unique needs
- Mentor and support youth participants into leadership roles, providing guidance and resources as needed
- Perform administrative tasks related to the position
- Perform other tasks as assigned

**Qualifications**
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a relevant field
- Proven experience in facilitation and/or youth work
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with youth and diverse stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of local community resources and networks is an asset

**Working Conditions**
- **Flexible Working Hours**:Monday to Friday between 10 am and 6 pm (Weekends and evenings occasionally, 3-4 times a year)
- **Wheelchair Accessible Office**: Shared office room located at the Broadway Youth Resource Centre, 2455 Fraser Street, Vancouver. The office and restrooms are wheelchair accessible.
- **Hybrid Format**: Programs are held in-person in Vancouver and one in Burnaby but the rest of the time is a hybrid format.
- **Equipment**:Full time employees receive a work phone and a laptop and are not expected to use personal devices for work. Monthly compass cards are also provided for full time positions and tickets for traveling to programs are provided for part-time positions.

**Benefits for full-time positions**
- **Health benefits** starting after 3 months ($600 reimbursed per practitioner/year with dental benefits).
- **6 weeks off per year**: 3 weeks vacation and 3 weeks of office closure (2 during winter holidays and 1 during summer).
- 7.5 days of sick time per year

**Salary**
- **$24/hour**, totalling **$37,440 annually **for 30 hours a week
- Salary paid bi-weekly

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 30 per week
