**Duties**:
The incumbent, working within a broad marketing framework, will implement strategies to help achieve the College’s strategic marketing goals. Involvement focuses on the following:
a) Initiating and supporting activities and advising staff in areas of internal and external communications.
b) Enhancing the College’s profile through the establishment of strong communication links with the media, business, industry, agencies, students, the general public and through the development of several communication vehicles.
c) Identifying and developing meaningful editorial opportunities aligned to college, academic and departmental priorities, and strategies.
**Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience**:
A minimum of a 3-year Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Integrated Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a marketing/public relations environment. Experience planning/developing communications plans. Project management experience and ability to research/analyze complex information. Experience meeting tight deadlines and working under pressure to complete multiple tasks.
**Other Required Qualifications**:
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Superior command of the English language and grammar, with demonstrated ability to write clearly and creatively.
- Solid understanding of marketing strategies and communications
- Demonstrated creativity and expertise in the planning and development of advertising and promotional materials using a variety of media (digital, print, radio, video) to produce professional publications, reports, advertisements, video productions, etc.
- Ability to research and analyze complex information.
**Physical/Work Environment Essential Requirements**:
The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location and work temporarily from a remote location with reliable internet access, as approved by the College and in accordance with the college’s Telework Policy.

- **Start Rate**:$33.38/hour, plus 6% in lieu of vacation
