**Job description**

**SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST**

At Over the Rainbow you will have the opportunity to empower families and work directly with children of all abilities by enhancing their strengths, building their skills and creating solutions through partnerships with a multidisciplinary team.

**Who**:
Creative and ambitious SLP’s interested in working collaboratively with team members including Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Behaviour Consultants, Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, Physiotherapists and RDI consultants.

Flexibility and ability to collaborate and coordinate services is essential.

The successful applicant must be registered with Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)

**What**:
Responsibilities include facilitating goals and objectives on the child’s individual service plans/individual program plans, enhancing family capacity, and collaborating with clinicians.

Engaging children using a play-based approach in helping meet the goals that the parents and team set on the service plan.

Developing resources such as social stories, visuals, games or scripts.

Flexibility and ability to collaborate and coordinate services is essential.

Immediate contractor position available with flexible hours. Hour’s dependent on family/child’s availability (daytime, after school, evenings and weekends) from Monday to Saturday.
