MightyID is communication company with technology that combines video and conference calling with messaging and task management abilities. MightyID has been designed for individuals and small
- to medium-sized companies. The app provides users with a messaging platform where you can also schedule calls or make them on the go.

**Job Title**:Finance Assistant

**Job Type**:part-time (20 hours/week) and/or full-time (40 hours/week)

**Numbers of Vacancies**: 1

**Location**:Canada

**Work Set-up**:Remote until further notice. Since we are an international company, some meetings may occur outside typical office hours.

**Benefits**:

- **Salary**:$16-$20 / hour depending on experience

Basically, this position involves reporting to the head of finance and supporting the finance and accounting teams in order to supply financial data to colleagues, clients and stakeholders of the business.
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets
- Managing records and receipts
- Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions
- Track and reconcile bank statements
- Processing invoices
- Create cost analysis reports (fixed and variable costs)
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Preparing balance sheets
- Developing an in-depth knowledge of corporate products and process
- Providing customer service to clients
- Being a contact point for other departments on financial and accounting matters
- Supporting the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics
- Work experience as a Finance Assistant, Finance Officer or similar role
- Good knowledge of accounting and bookeeping procedures
- Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
- Familiarity with accounting software (like QuickBooks).
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
