CANDIDATE PROFILE DETAILS:
Degree/Certifications Required: PMP Certification and Agile/SCRUM Certifications
Years of experience: 7 years
Reason for request/why opened: backfill and volume
% Interaction with Stakeholders: 90% stakeholder interaction.
Project Scope: Managing L and D Projects and L&D workstream on programs run in SAFe Agile methodology
Team Size: Direct team is about 7 all together, broader team is 12

Experience PM who has working in L and D project, ideally in a banking environment.

SUMMARY OF DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leading and L and D team
- designers, developers, BPs in implementation of learning solutions.
Working with an agile program level team.
MUST HAVE:
1.) PM experience
2.) MS Project experience
3.) Demonstrated experience managing in Agile (SAFe SCRUM) and/or hyrbid Agile/Waterfall - need to be able to give examples of Project mgmt experience in the interview (missing piece from previous interviews)
4.) PMP Certification, SCRUM and Agile certifications
5.) Strong ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Learning and Development (L&D) Project Manager
Toronto, Ontario
Reporting to the Manager, Learning Enablement, Learning & Development, the L&D Project Manager will partner with individual businesses, Learning Solutions Architect, vendors, and the broader L&D team to oversee and ensure end to end delivery of high quality, innovative, diverse, multi-modal blended learning solutions on a variety of learning projects that support business priorities, enable people strategies and impact key business measures.
Job Requirements
- In partnership with business-specific Learning Solutions Architects, lead the end to end planning and execution of high complexity learning and development projects and programs which entail design, development and delivery of internal or outsourced enterprise-wide and business specific solutions
- Understand the learning development and delivery processes specific to TD that deliver various learning formats including virtual classroom, eLearning, webinars, self-led learner pathways and workshops of learning and development programs
- Support the vendor engagement and onboarding process when third party learning partners are engaged
- Develop and implement effective stakeholder engagement and strategies leveraging key project management assets e.g. charter, project schedule, change requests to ensure tight governance control and risk management throughout the project/program
Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
- Proven track record of delivering results and commitment to operational and service excellence
- Minimum 7 years of experience in project management and/or program management, preferably in a learning or adult training environment
- PMP certification
- SCRUM certified and experience working in Agile and/or Agile Hybrid manner
- Thorough understanding of the project management framework and how to effectively leverage project management assets (charters, project schedules, risk management plans, change management plans etc.) to establish clarity of vision and detailed execution plan throughout project life-cycle.
