Desktop Support and Report Creation

**Overview**
Coordinate with our team members, operations, to perform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of desktop problems for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions. Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software in order to deliver required desktop service levels.
Use your skills in data and financial analysis to produce and analyze performance metrics and provide regular reports to management, identifying areas for improvement.
**Technical Platforms and End-User Support**
- Application Analyst plays a critical role to ensure the appropriate business and system processes are being developed as part of any system implementation or enhancements.
- Manage and prioritize incident resolution, ensuring timely and effective solutions for end-users.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide regular reports to management, identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintain and manage IT security and privacy policy govern by Canadian regulatory bodies.
- Gather feedback from end-users and use it to drive improvements in service delivery.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Data Backup and Recovery
- Server Install and Maintenance (2008/2012/2016)
- Active Directory Management, Migration and Maintenance.
- IT Wiring, Networks, Layers
- Co-ordinate with 3rd party vendors and maintain relationships with suppliers of IT services.
- Oversee and determine timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages.
- Develop new layers of protection to mitigate cyber security risks.
- Work alongside other departments to achieve company objectives.
- Analyze costs and determine methods to reduce costs and stay within budget.
- Develop technology metrics to support IT and the company.
- Ensure controls and related processes produce successful outcomes.
- Manage and maintain call center back end (Goco)
- Support Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Azure, Entra ID, Teams, Windows 10/11, Medical Record systems (Telus, Input Health, IntakeQ), Doxy, GOCO, and other internal software.
- Assist in creating an IT support policy and ongoing revisions and maintenance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Provide strategic IT guidance for planning projects and operational support.
**Operational Data and Reporting**
- Liaise with the Operations team and Finance to ensure optimal requirements coverage.
- Identify stakeholder objectives and their business needs.
- Investigate complex business and system functional and non-functional requirements.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide regular reports to management, identifying areas for improvement.
- Able to operate independently and within a team environment.
- Leverage organizational knowledge, IT systems and standards to develop, maintain, and execute system roadmaps.
- Provide/maintain user training and documentation on IT systems.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders for requirements analysis.
- Promote team compliance with business analysis and requirements methodologies and standards.
- Oversee and manage escalations and resolution, as well as ongoing monitoring and assessment to mitigate risks and monitor and track progress.
- Manage positive team, client, and technology partner relationships.
- Maintain "end-to-end" view of the customer, business, and processes to help new project requests based on changing partner needs.
- Lead planning and implementation sessions.
- Build forms and workflows to meet business process needs.
- Actively seek feedback from both users and key stakeholders.
- Document design and healthcare administration best practices.
- Provides alternatives, recommendations, and assistance to Management involved in the development, integration, and installation of new services and products.
- Work closely with the VP of Finance and VP Operations, to analyze and model the business domain to create a complete picture of workflows and functional requirements fulfilled by current, proposed, and future technology solutions.
- Analyze business unit needs and gaps to advise on cross-functional continuous improvement efforts
**Technical skills**
- Experience with EMR products (Telus Health, IntakeQ) are a big Asset
- Azure Server and AWS Experience
- Desktop and Laptop Support and maintenance (Onsite and Remotely)
- Using Remote Support Tools
- Microsoft Server 2008/2012/2016
- IT Certifications or verifiable Equivalent work experience
