What We Need

FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire an Analyst I within our Corpay division. This position falls under our Corpay Cross Border line of business and is located in 212 King Street West, Toronto ON. You will report directly to Director, FP&A and Tax Accounting and regularly collaborate with team(s)/department(s).

How We Work

As an Analyst I you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. FLEETCOR will set you up for success by providing:

- Assigned workspace in 212 King Street West, Toronto ON office
- Company-issued equipment [+ remote access]
- Formal, hands-on training

Role Responsibilities

**The responsibilities of the role will include**:

- Assist in preparation of annual corporate tax provisions for global entities inclusive of North America, Europe, Asia, and AU region
- Assist external consultants in the preparation of corporate income tax returns across all global entities, preparation of federal and provincial tax installment calculations, ensuring timely remittances
- Assist in preparation of GST, VAT, excise tax and local indirect tax returns inclusive of monthly, quarterly and annual returns
- Assist in completing year end annual Transfer Pricing report, along with preparing monthly transfer pricing calculation for financial statements
- Assist in the preparation of monthly tax reconciliations and quarterly balance sheet variance analysis
- Collating documentation and assist in preparing responses for tax audits and appeals across all jurisdictions that the company has presence
- Conducting tax related research for tax planning, and other inquiries
- Prepare miscellaneous tax forms and other tax compliance for all global entities (including W8, W9, 1099s and other forms)
- File, maintain and organize tax files and records
- Work on special projects and assist with ad hoc requests

Qualifications & Skills
- Strong self-starter with strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to clearly explain complex tax and business issues.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is a must;
- Proficient in M/S Office (strong focus on Excel), SQL, accounting software
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience;
- CPA designation is good to have
