**Job Details**
- The Business Vendor Analyst supports the efficient and timely delivery of Credit Card projects and initiatives through effective relationship management with our internal partners and vendors, while preserving the customer experience and maintaining operational efficiencies.
- The Business Vendor Analyst will work with the external vendors along with business and technology partners throughout the Project Life Cycle including initiation, concept, analysis, development, testing and implementation.
- The Business Vendor Analyst will attend project kick off meeting for assigned projects and support resolution of vendor related defects within project methodology. Act as the first point of contact for questions/escalations that arise from projects impacting third party vendors. Vendor Analyst will participate in project requirement gathering sessions on behalf of the vendor acting as a SME as it relates to the project.**Accountabilities**:

- Identifying business needs and determining solutions to business problems by analyzing options/solutions which may include a technology component, but may also consist of process improvement, organizational change or strategic planning and/or policy development
- Working collaboratively with technology partners, operational areas, vendors, business stakeholders to plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage business requirements
- Assessing, documenting and validating current states processes, understanding the problem statement and business needs to deliver effective solutions that address business problems and align to strategic business goals
- Supporting project delivery, testing and Identify scope changes and complete analysis to determine impact to project benefits and risk, implementation activities to deliver business benefits and achieve business results/objectives under the direction of others within the vendor analyst team; communicate with various internal partners and vendors to coordinate details
- Role may also be accountable for delivering on smaller scale business / technology initiatives or work packages as part of a broader project or program
- Works within well-defined guidelines and procedures and escalates issues to management as necessary
- Identify, document and validate current state BVA procedure & processes and work with the business and stakeholders to design the desired future state
- Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise to provide advice and guidance to business partners and project team regarding best project practices
- Participate in regular coaching and performance review sessions, employee surveys and action plans
- Own development plan including activities related to training, relationship building and on-the-job experiences that continually enhance individual business analysis capabilities to achieve career goals
- Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing diversity in the workplace and supporting and proudly representing TD in the community
- Sound knowledge of business analysis, project delivery practices and standards across the project life-cycle

**Job Requirements**

**Education/ Experience**:

- Minimum / Advanced knowledge of project management methodology, including both waterfall and agile practices
- Minimum / Advanced knowledge of project delivery practices and standards across the project life cycle
- Sound knowledge of our TDCT & MBNA credit card portfolio
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years' experience in vendor management or the supply chain field and/or related business experience
