The Change Management Specialist will play a key role in ensuring related change initiatives and projects meet / support related goals and objectives for HealthLink BC Transformation. Reporting to the Change Management Lead, this role will focus on supporting changes to business and clinical processes, device delivery, systems and technology, the creation and implementation of change management plans. It will also be responsible for creating change and/or communication materials as required. Additionally, the Change Management Specialist will be responsible for engaging key stakeholders to conduct root cause and/or current state analysis, business and clinical readiness assessments; as well as the development and delivery of key documentation to support the successful implementation of change management strategies and activities resulting from analysis conducted.

**What you’ll do**
- Leads, facilitates and coordinates change management related working sessions, to gather stakeholder requirements to enable effective change adoption; and or facilitate lesson’s learned sessions and/or other closeout activities to better inform future change strategies and plan development.
- Conducts business and clinical readiness assessments/analysis; evaluates results and provide findings to the Change Management Lead.
- Identifies and documents potential end-user related risks and anticipates points of resistance, recommends plan(s) to mitigate or address concerns, identifies resistance and performance gaps, and recommends corrective actions). Documents knowledge transfer from business and clinical staff to support change adoption activities.
- Supports the development of change management strategy(s) based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups (e.g., business and clinical end users) being impacted by the change.
- Supports the execution of change management and stakeholder engagement plans by working collaboratively with managers and business/clinical leaders; and is responsible for creating supportive materials such as stakeholder engagement plans, sponsor roadmaps, change adoption and resistance management plans, communications, presentation materials, surveys, workflow analysis, impact assessments, lessons learned, close out reports,
- Drafts training materials and assists business/clinical end users adopt new processes, tools, systems, etc.; ensuring processes are running smoothly using the information gained from detailed analysis.
- Manages measurement systems (i.e. KPIs, surveys, etc.) to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of changes; as well as closeout reports inclusive of lesson’s learned, variances, etc.

**What you bring**

**Qualifications**:

- A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Change, or Business Administration and five (5) years of experience in supporting change or technology change in a health care setting. PROSCI Certification or equivalent experience of change management principles and methodologies is an asset.
- Demonstrated recent knowledge of the systems, culture and organizational systems intelligence in a health care organization. Demonstrated experience in leading change in a clinical setting. Demonstrated expert knowledge and leadership in Organizational Change. Demonstrated experience leading a team and fostering a respectful, motivating and supportive environment. Demonstrated expert knowledge in change theory and adoption principles and how these principles can be translated into implementation strategies to generate positive outcomes for patients. Demonstrated problem solving and root cause identification skills. Demonstrated ability to manage relationships and influence senior leadership. Demonstrated analytical and decision making abilities. Demonstrated knowledge of Lean or related process improvement principles. Demonstrated ability to see the “whole picture” in relation to the project. Proven ability to influence, engage, collaborate on and coordinate change activities successfully and positively across multiple organizations. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with project management approaches and methodology. Experience with large scale organizational change efforts. Experience with strategic planning and tactics and problem solving and root cause analysis skills. Ability to influence others to move towards a common vision.
