Business Development Coordinator

We are looking for a Business Development Coordinator for our client located at Markham. The company is in the business of computer appliances.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review and understand internal requests and/or customer requirements.
- Work on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Review account history to ensure consistency in pricing and response.
- Actively participate in the proposal strategy definition by researching internal and external information, proposing ideas, options, and creative ways to present proposals and pricing, keeping in mind the company customer differences in culture.
- Prepare and publish a project schedule to ensure the proposal will be delivered before or on the due date and time.
- Assist the manager in coaching, developing, and mentoring the junior team members.
- Work on proposal templates and content
- Identity requires approvers and initiates the approval process.
- Draft answers to standard and complex technical and commercial requirements and integrate input from other stakeholders to ensure a homogeneous and accurate offer that respects corporate standards.
- Daily monitor for multi RFI/RFP/RFQ/bid websites and manage them from A toZ.
- Coordinate the above among Sales, Service, and Product teams within the Company. Requirements:

- At least 3+ years of experience in a related field.
- Good understanding of pricing models and strategies, tenders, and proposals.
- Good understanding of the customers’ internal or external needs and requirements.
- Pursue everything with energy, drive, and a proactive “can-do” attitude; anticipate emerging issues and prepare to address them.
- Good cultural sensitivity and awareness.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Good understanding of contracting concepts, including financial and legal instruments.
- Written and verbal communication skills in English, and French an asset.

**Location: Markham**

**Salary: $46000 to $48000 / Annual Salary (Based on exp) + $2400**

**Shift time: 9am to** **5:30pm (Mon - Fri)**
