- Commissioned Positions as opposed to straight commission like most automotive salespeople. Today’s auto buyer doesn’t want to have to come in and haggle and negotiate in order to get their “best deal”, nor do they want to be serviced by someone who is incentivized for selling them the car with the most mark-up as opposed to the best fit for them and their family. ReCar is built on this principle.

The Sales Manager is highly focused on the customer experience driven to meet and exceed sales targets. The Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Management of all customer and team member interactions.
- Management of the Sales Team and Sales Process including:
- Constantly searching out future sales leaders and then training and coaching them, as well as our current team, to success.
- Holding all Team Members accountable to follow our sales documented and successful sales process.
- Providing exceptional service throughout our Guest’s experience including world-class vehicle deliveries, proving we are a customer obsessed brand.
- Lead by execution by holding yourself and your team accountable to ReCar and Shift Auto Group Policies and Procedures.
- Technology - We are a data-driven company and you will need to manage our various technology tools for the branch including our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool and various others.
- Ensuring all Team Members follow our sales documented and successful sales process with the highest levels of integrity and accountability.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships and demonstrating excellent teamwork, fostering an environment of failing forward.
- Assist sales staff in closing deals.
**Qualifications**:
- Have a proven Sales and Sales Management track record from automotive or another very similar retail industry (RV, Marine).
- Experience as a Finance Manager in automotive is not a requirement, but would be a huge advantage.
- Be someone who is not interested in sitting in their office all day, but is an active Sales Manager out talking to our Guests and doing everything possible to find a “win-win” scenario in every situation that leads to a vehicle sale.
- Have a proven track record of exceptional Customer Service.
- Understand that selling cars isn’t about slick-talking or shady behaviours, but about honesty, integrity and building relationships.
- Be someone who understands that selling is in large part following an ever-changing sales process and leading their team to do so without exception.
- Be a leader who understands the proper balance between motivation and accountability.
