Reporting to the Manager Redevelopment, the Redevelopment Project Coordinator will supervise the planning, execution, control, monitor and closure of assigned functions for redevelopment construction/renovations and specialties projects. All within approved budgets, scopes, and schedules; and within the approved project implementation guidelines as released by the MOHLTC.
The Redevelopment Project Coordinator is responsible for leading small to medium space renovation and smaller complexity construction projects from the project initiation, procurement, design development, construction documents through contract administration and close-out phases. The principal responsibilities include: developing and implementing strategies to facilitate the cost effective and timely execution of multiple, simultaneous, renovation projects within clinical and non-clinical hospital spaces. Actively managing project team members including consultants, contractors, suppliers and vendors and internal partners; and managing and supervising client and stakeholder expectations including effective communication and issues resolution; developing schematic drawings and process mapping for client review and collaboration; monitoring the progress and quality of work associated with project outcomes; performing financial responsibilities such as defining project costs and monitoring budget activity.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 3 year College College Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or related field is required
- Undergraduate degree in Architectural, Interior Design, Engineering or related field is preferred
- Experience in managing, organizing and orchestrating small to medium size projects from inception through to project close-out
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management processes and methodologies required
- Familiarity with Alternative Financing and Procurement / Public Private Partnerships
- Proven ability to effectively engage, manage and supervise contractors, sub-contractors and tradespeople
- Ability to function effectively, managing multiple demands, in a fast paced, multi-site environment with competing priorities and time constraints
- Familiarity with Ontario Building Code, CSA Z-8000 and CSA Z317 Infection Control
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUP, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Project and Adobe.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Meet with client and stakeholders to develop scope of work. Design and develop schematic drawings for client sign-off and preliminary approval.
- Responsible for leading small and medium space renovation and infrastructure construction projects from the project initiation, procurement, design development, construction documents through contract administration and close-out phases.

- Develop request for quotation (RFT, RFP, RFQ, RFX) for consultants and/or contractors. When required, collaborate with the Strategic Sourcing department. Leading bid meetings, site walk throughs as well as manage RFX processes, documentation (including addendums, RFI, etc.) and contracts.
- Coordinating bid evaluations with the Strategic Sourcing department. Effectively hire consultants. contractors, sub-contractors and tradespeople while collaborating with and meeting expectations of internal stakeholders and health care professionals (health care provides, managers, and clinical managers.
- Develop cost estimate internally or engaging third party cost consultants (when required) and manage financial aspect of the project. Obtain project approval.
- Monitor and control Project Budget through the project duration ensuring value for money.
- Ensure cashflow through the reject.
