**Supply Chain Analyst (On-Site)**

We are looking for a** Supply Chain Analyst** to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for you if you have a minimum of two (2) years of work experience in supply chain and are ready to gain experience in a successful pharmaceutical company. This role is based on-site at our Mississauga location.

**Who We’re Looking for?**

The **Supply Chain Analyst** handles a wide range of responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of the department. You need excellent communication skills and the ability to function well in a role that requires autonomy and initiative.

You have excellent organizational and administrative skills and can balance multiple priorities. This position regularly interacts with senior management and requires someone with high integrity and discretion.

**Order Processing and Customer Service**
- Receive, process, post, and invoice customer orders
- Authorize and process sales returns
- Answer customer queries and develop relationships where possible
- Understand customer order patterns and proactively reach out to customers when orders deviate from the norm
- Investigate and organize backup for customer debit notes

**Planning, Production, and Purchasing**
- Raise purchase orders for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
- Maintain a database of open POs, vendor confirmations, and expected arrival dates
- Maintain regular contact with suppliers on delivery schedules
- Organize and coordinate inbound and outbound freight, including obtaining quotes, preparing shipping documents, and tracking shipments to ensure on-time arrival
- Post purchase order receipts and invoices into the ERP system and prepare associated document packages for QA and Finance
- Identify and reconcile purchase receipt adjustments
- Be involved in and track margin improvement projects
- Assist with internal production planning and forecasting
- Communicate forecast schedules with suppliers
- Organize production schedules with suppliers to meet our needs

**Inventory Management**
- Maintain inventory levels to internal standards
- Maintain the Production Lot reports, monitor inventory, and complete regular valuation of wastage and obsolescence
- Monitor price changes and ensure the accurate cost of inventory
- Inventory reconciliations and adjustments
- Inter-company inventory transfers

**Quality Assurance**
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance on the release of finished goods
- Maintain a record of suppliers’ quality systems and seek continuous improvement.

**Other**
- Process and allocate storage and freight invoices
- Month-end closing tasks as assigned
- Preparing monthly reports
- Replacement cost analysis
- Gross margin
- Forecast variance analysis
- Inventory coverage
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities, as assigned

**Minimum Requirements**
- Dependable team player with the ability to work autonomously
- Take initiative and be proactive
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to work with internal and external teams
- Specialization in Supply Chain Management is considered an asset
- Experience in Quality Assurance would be considered an asset
- Experience with Sage ERP and EDI is considered an asset.
