We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to join our team as Accounting and Office Administrator.

**Key Accounting Responsibilities**:

- Managing full cycle accounts payable
- Assistance with invoicing
- Assistance with bank reconciliations
- Month-end support

**Key Administrative Responsibilities**:

- **Documentation**: Prepare, organize, and maintain project files, contracts, and other important documents.
- **Data Entry**: Input and update information into company databases and spreadsheets accurately.
- **Scheduling**: Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and site visits for project managers and other team members.
- **Communication**: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients as needed, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- **Office Supplies**: Manage office supplies inventory, order supplies, and maintain equipment.
- **Assistance**: Provide general administrative support to project managers and other staff as needed.
- **Compliance**: Ensure that office practices and procedures adhere to company policies and relevant regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- A combination of accounting education and work experience, no less than 3 years, preferably with a strong accounts payable background
- Knowledge of and experience with at least one accounting software package
- Background in the construction industry is a strong asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of Google Workspace is an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Basic knowledge of construction terminology and practices is advantageous but not required.
- Open-minded to changing priorities on a day-to-day basis as we grow the business.

**Work Schedule**:

- Full time, Monday to Friday, expected to be spent 24 hours on accounting work and the rest on administrative tasks with some fluidity
- Hybrid with a minimum of 3 days in the office
- Location: 165 W 4 Ave, Vancouver

**Compensation**:

- $60,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
