**Project Manager**
- Sheet Harbour, Nova Scotia_

Your drive and expertise in project management applied to logistics and operations will be put to full use in this leadership role, working alongside our maintenance and operational teams in Atlantic Canada.

Reporting to the Vice-President, Atlantic, you will plan, organize and coordinate projects to support the growth and operational excellence of our marine terminals located in Atlantic Canada. As part of the management team, you will also take part in managing operations in our Sheet Harbour marine terminal. You will also assist the Vice-President with budget planning and cost and revenue analysis, operational performance assessment and reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**PROJECT MANAGEMENT**
- Perform project planning and budgeting activities, coordinating materials, equipment and labour required by projects.
- Follow up with project schedule, costs and deliverables and initiate actions to meet each project’s objectives
- Coordinate all stakeholders to follow project plans effectively

**OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE**
- Plan administrative and operational activities
- Supervise terminal operations and lead projects aimed at improving efficiency and overall performance towards our KPIs
- Perform performance analysis and assess continuous improvement initiatives/ projects

**CUSTOMER SERVICE**
- Provide quality customer service and foster strong relationships with stakeholders

**HEALTH & SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT**
- Ensure compliance of working methods with standard operational procedures
- Nurture a culture of prevention with regards to occupational health and safety
- Conduct field audits and participate in HSSE investigations.

**LEADERSHIP**
- Lead operational teams on the terminal to achieve the objectives
- Act as an ambassador of QSL’s values.

**REQUIRED PROFILE**:

- University degree in management, engineering, transport logistics, or any other related discipline
- Experience in project management - preferably in manufacturing, mining, logistics or construction
- Practical experience in continuous improvement processes and supervision
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and PowerBI
- Engaging leadership
- Customer focus
- Planning and organizing skills
- Communication skills
- Availability to work occasionally on evenings and weekends
- Availability to travel on occasion to our marine terminals located in the Atlantic Provinces (mainly Halifax and Saint John)
