The City of Parksville has an opening for a **Human Resources Advisor. **Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources and Occupational Health & Safety, the Human Resources Advisor performs a range of generalist responsibilities at an intermediate level in the areas of full-cycle recruitment, job evaluation, disability management and employee and labour relations. This position will also participate in the development and ongoing administration of personnel policies and procedures and participate and assist with ongoing or new projects and initiatives as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or a related discipline
- Three years’ experience in Municipal Human Resources environment - experience working in a union environment is required
- CPHR designation (or working towards) is considered an asset.
- At the discretion of the City, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered._

The City offers a competitive salary range $87,435.30 - $100,345.21, depending on relevant experience and credentials, and a comprehensive benefits package including an earned day off program upon completion of probation.
