**WHAT’S THE ROLE?**

**Envisivent - Technical Sales (Inside)/Product Specialist**

We're seeking individuals who are not only sales-savvy but also willing to become deeply knowledgeable about our unique product offerings. As a Technical (Inside) Sales and Product Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in driving our brand’s growth and success. You'll have the opportunity to interact directly with customers, providing them with tailored solutions and exceptional service.

**PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Become an expert in our products, understanding their technical specifications and benefits.
- Drive a seamless customer experience that creates a positive sentiment for our brand.
- Manage all aspects of e-commerce platform (shopfiy) including processing daily orders, updating product listings and adjusting inventory levels
- Coordinate shipping products to customers which will require periodic liaison with shipping carriers; this also includes, keeping track of any custom orders which take place outside of our e-commerce platform
- Assist customers with technical inquiries, troubleshooting, and product recommendations.
- Collaborate with development team providing feedback on customer needs/market trends.
- Continually gain competitor knowledge/information and stay abreast of competing products.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as accounting, warehousing, order desk, marketing.
- Update production team on any issues affecting product quality and inventory availability.

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**:

- College or University Degree
- Experience in the Building Materials/Construction Industry is preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a customer-facing role, where dealing with technical aspects of customer requests in a high-volume environment was required.
- Have a strong aptitude for comprehending technical questions related to installation. You’ll be expected to address inquiries about installation procedures, compatibility, and troubleshooting.
- Strong multitasking and attention to detail to convey technical details to customers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience working with shopify, or other (or similar e-commerce platforms) and having familiarity with Shopify’s features, product management, and order processing is an asset.
- Understanding cross-border logistics is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving ability, backed by good judgement.
- Ability to respond to customer questions using social media.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and teams.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
