**The primary objective of the administrative assistant’s role is to**:

- Manage the daily operations of the front office to ensure efficiency in all business functions
- Manage communications between clients and staff to provide effective customer service
- Provide support to showroom and walk in clients
- Promote health and safety in the workplace
- Monitor incoming payments and outstanding accounts to ensure timely payment

**What you’ll do**

As an administrative assistant you will:

- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments for sales staff
- Maintain appearance of the showroom
- Create and send invoices to clients
- Manage accounts receivable and follow up on past due accounts
- Process incoming mail
- Data entry and filing
- Order office supplies as needed
- Maintain contact lists
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
- Liaise with sales, shop, and administrative staff to handle any requests/queries
- Assist with recruiting, ensure new staff have all required documentation
- Other responsibilities as requested

**Experience**

We’re looking for someone with:

- A Grade 12 Diploma
- A minimum 1 year post secondary or 1-year previous admin experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Google Calendar
- Interest in interior design, home renovation, kitchens etc. considered an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:
