The Director of Culinary is a driven leader proficient at managing our culinary and dining departments. You will lead and manage your areas with efficiency and deliver an elevated dining experience to our residents, demonstrated by excellent service and quality menus,

You will work closely with the Executive Director, with a robust focus on financials, and prioritize resident satisfaction for an elevated resident experience.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive employee engagement and resident satisfaction
- Able to work with partners ensuring best quality and pricing for food and supplies
- Partnering with Life Enhancement and Sales Teams for planning and execution of marketing and resident events
- Budgetary and financial management of food and labour costs

**Your experience**:

- Red Seal Certification,
- Experience as a professional chef, with success in various culinary roles,
- Proven success in leading a culinary team, both front and back of the house.
- Experience in the Retirement or Hospitality industry is a must.
- Possession of a valid Food Safety/Food Handler's Certification,
- Understanding of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper handling of ingredients to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Serve it Right Certification
- Strong computer skills for inventory control, menu planning software,
- Must provide a current (within six months) Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,500.00 per year
