Industrial Outside Sales Representative

- Our customers - _More than 100,000 customers in North America: kitchen and bathroom cabinet, storage and closet, home furnishing and office furniture manufacturers, residential and commercial woodworkers, and hardware retailers including renovation superstores.
- Our team -_ 2,700 people, close to half of whom focus on sales and marketing, and more than 50% of whom are Richelieu shareholders.
Richelieu Hardware Canada Ltd., is a leading and rapidly growing distributor in the wholesale building industry, with branches across North America. With an extensive product line, Richelieu has a diverse customer group consisting of millworkers, furniture & kitchen manufacturers, retailers and contractors. Our Richmond and Kelowna offices are now seeking a career minded individual as a SALES REPRESENTATIVE to be part of our team.
This individual is highly motivated and possesses strong interpersonal and organizational skills. They also have the ability to work independently in their assigned territory while working with the Sales Manager to ensure sales and margin targets are being met.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Service existing accounts and develop new ones
- Implement sales and marketing programs in your assigned territory
- Sales forecasting, project tracking and budgeting
- Maintain and keep customer records using our unique CRM software
- Resolve customer problems and issues in a timely fashion
**REQUIREMENTS**
- High school graduate. University Business degree preferred.
- Related sales and/or industry experience preferred but not necessary.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to multi-task and cope in a fast -paced environment.
- Quick learner, and positive attitude.
- Computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office and Windows.
