_**elle cuisine**_’s team is seeking a dynamic, hardworking, and highly motivated individual with strong operational and customer service skills to join our department as **CLIENT MANAGER & EVENT PLANNER (Catering Logistics Specialist)**. This person will manage a demanding portfolio of unique clients with the mission to fulfill and exceed their event needs and expectations, as well as manage the client management and operations teams ensuring the success of each event. As such, this individual will be required to build relationships, offer _**elle cuisine’s**_ full suite of services, and seek growth opportunities on behalf of _**elle**_.

**COMPENSATION PACKAGE**:$50,000.00 - $68,000.00 (depending on experience)
- 2 weeks paid vacation
- 5 sick days

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Thoughtfully prepare customized and personalized menus, quotes, and proposals for clients.
- Work closely with, and actively invest in the relationships of our clients, venues, suppliers and partners.
- Serve as the main contact for each assigned client, available continually for questions, concerns, planning and coordination needs.
- Strong knowledge of _**elle cuisine’s**_ full suite of services and actively suggesting complimentary additions to each unique client.
- Ensure smooth and sustainable event execution strategies in accordance with each client’s budget.
- Responsible for various tasks including; menu planning, rental coordination, logistics and event execution, inventory management, décor and event production, management of the operations and client services team
- Facilitate weekly coordination roundups to ensure all event deliverables are on track for the full event roster.
- Ensure smooth and sustainable event execution strategies in accordance with each client’s budget.
- Ultimately accountable for the success of each event and the contributing staff members, overseeing all logistics.
- Maintain and improve internal systems and strategies to ensure resource sharing and best practices across the team.
- Develop strategies for long term sustainability and scalability for the event management department.
- Must be willing to attend/work events on evenings & weekends and work flexible hours during busy seasons.
- Build and maintain a strong relationship with the head chef and CEO/Owner.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma.
- Client management experience is required
- Event planning experience is an asset
- Minimum of 2 years previous work experience in sales and client management. Previous experience in the food industry is an asset.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to creatively problem solve, and be solution oriented.
- Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks.
- Skilled at working in a demanding, fast-paced work environment and flexible with work hours. Comfortable working evenings and weekends as required.
- Able to perform well and problem solve in high stress, dynamic and constantly changing/evolving situations.
- Detail oriented and ability to manage a high volume of work easily and effectively.
- Positive and professional attitude and ability to work as a team player.
- Excellent time management, organization and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thoughtfully and efficiently delegate to and lead a team.
- Exceptional understanding of and experience working with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Flawless spelling and grammar is an expectation.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
