Search Engine Optimization Specialist

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
We are seeking an analytical and creative SEO Specialist to join our marketing team. As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for tracking, managing, implementing web strategies that help generate net-new leads and increase the user experience for current members and new users. You should have a strong understanding and hands-on experience with website analytics and analysis to help drive performance and insights for our web properties. This role will work very closely with the company's IT, Design, and Product teams to oversee the implementation of strategies to maximize website performance and contribute to positive ROI.
We are growing, so you will be responsible for multiple international markets where you will be in charge of the day-to-day and long-term SEO strategy and deliverables. You will also have the opportunity to work with various internal departments and liaise with agencies to help our company increase SERPs, Organic Traffic (non-Branded) and Organic Registrations on all major search networks.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**SEO Optimization**:
- Develop, manage, and execute SEO optimization across all solution lines and corporate content. This includes experiments and initiatives to drive awareness, organic traffic, leads, and engagement.
- Execute SEO technical audits of the website and collaborate with the web development team on the implementation of technical SEO optimizations.
- Provide SEO recommendations, including timelines and budgets. Recommend websites optimizations to drive traffic and improve conversion rates.
- Identify link-building opportunities and execute backlink plans.
- Optimize existing content, advise the content team on content creation, and identify content gaps.
- Develop knowledge hubs; provide keyword and topic recommendations for content writing. Recommend various content types and topics.
**Backlinks**:
- Plan, develop and implement of both on-site and off-site SEO strategies, tactics and related activities aimed at the improvement of natural search rankings.
- Supervise and maintain the relationship with the SEO agencies.
- Develop, implement, and manage link-building campaigns, perform backlink analysis, opportunity identification, solicitation, and optimization.
**Keyword Research**:
- Create and manage keyword lists, clusters, and mapping. Uncover new opportunities of untapped search space for both high volume core business terms and broad match, long-tail keywords.
- Own action plans for identified keywords, monitor results over time, and provide feedback on ranking to the demand generation and content teams.
- Monitor and prevent any potential keyword cannibalization.
**SEO Best Practice Advocacy**:
- Advocate for SEO best practices and adoption by core cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, content, demand generation, and product.
- Collaborate with various teams to infuse SEO strategies and best practices into decision-making. Develop and provide SEO training.
**Reporting & Analysis**:
- Measure SEO progress, performance, and success.
- Create and deliver quantitative and qualitative SEO performance reports to internal stakeholders.
- Use various tools including but not limited to SEO tools and web analytics tools (Google Data Studio, Google Analytics Search Console, SEMRush, etc.) to present data and develop recommendations.
**Requirements**:
- Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and time management skills.
- Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically and identify and resolve problems.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
- Ability to foster strong stakeholder relationships at various levels.
- Ability to clearly and effectively articulate insights and issues to technical and non-technical team members.
- Passion for SEO, UX and overall digital marketing.
- 3+ years’ experience in SEO, specific to a B2B environment.
- Expert in Google Analytics, Google Optimize and Google Data Studio (Must be Google Analytics certified)
- Expert in using web analytics and sales data to drive decisions, identify opportunities for improvement, and to validate the success of key site changes/enhancements.
- Good aesthetic sensibilities and design sense
- Solid understanding of online acquisition marketing strategies; Google Ads, SEO and other marketing channels
- BA/BS degree or college diploma
**Experience or knowledge of the following considered an asset**:
