**JOB DESCRIPTION**

The Project Manager for Exhibit Solutions Inc will plan and execute clients' exhibit builds and events. They are involved in the project cycle from design concept and development to fabrication and final execution.

They work closely with the Account Managers to define the project objectives, collaborate with other departments on the execution, oversee quality control, and manage costs. The Project Manager ensures that client requests and material/operational realities are aligned.

They have a proven history of successfully executing exhibit build projects, which includes being an active, engaged and positive team member throughout the sales, design, engineering and production process.

**THE RIGHT CANDIDATE**

As a team member, you are accountable for clients' projects and shows. At Exhibit Solutions,you will need strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and experience with display fabrication within the industry to succeed.

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Collaborate with the Account Managers and clients to detail project requirements
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Possess the ability to work independently, as a team lead, or as a team player
- Establish and coordinate project timelines (workback schedules), monitor progress, investigate delays, and take action to ensure schedules are met
- Estimate projects (or specific aspects of projects) and produce budgets
- Communicate project details to the Detailers and Operations team throughout the production process
- Work closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure project budgets are strictly adhered to, profits are maximized, and cost-saving opportunities identified
- Prepare shop and installation drawings with the assistance of detailers
- Communicate with suppliers to determine costs and source materials
- Purchase project-specific materials as needed
- Work with the Production Manager or Detailer to prepare material take-offs
- Source workforce or sub-trades for specific projects
- Manage, and monitor shop and sub-trade production
- Approve all requests for payment to vendors for labour and material charges related to jobs
- Maintain positive work relationships with all suppliers
- Track project costs, produce change orders, and assemble all costs required for job closing
- Maintains an accurate record of all historical quotations, invoices, detailed drawings, and final renderings for all projects
- Able to travel to subcontractor or supplier sites, as well as events (locally/U.S.) as needed

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- University or College degree
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management, specifically in the retail fixture, exhibit or related industry
- Valid Diver's License
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving & analytical skills
- Ability to work to strict timelines and exceptionally detail-oriented
- Ability to work and thrive in a collaborative, multi-tasked environment while efficiently managing their own time
- Skilled in negotiations with stakeholders, partners and internal departments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, customer service-focused, with a professional "get it done" attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with project management software (Smartsheet an asset)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Demonstrates growth through skills training & professional development

We design and fabricate displays for trade shows and events nationally and internationally. In addition to the construction of clients' exhibits, we manage their exhibit programs or individual shows.

We have built strong working relationships with our clients and have worked with many of them for over 15 years. Our clients range from medium to large organizations in Canada, the U.S. and Europe.

As a boutique exhibit house with a small team, we are all dedicated to quality work and an exceptional customer experience. We value teamwork, and a strong work ethic and hold ourselves to the highest standard to ensure our client's events are successful.
