**The Opportunity**
The Children’s Services Community Facilitator is responsible for increasing access and establishing new and
enhanced linkages between clients and children’s services organizations in the broader community, through
community facilitation/capacity-building strategies and direct involvement with families.
**What you will do: What you will need**:
- Meet children’s and families' needs by strengthening,
enhancing, building on and integrating programs and
services, including those currently in place and new,
created and/or influenced by this position.
- Enhance linkages between children’s services
organizations, internal departments, and the
Muskoka families that can benefit from those
services, in both a broad and a targeted manner.
- Increase usage of children’s services across
Muskoka, particularly vulnerable families. This will be
accomplished by liaising community agencies and
clients to identify families’ barriers to accessing
children’s services, and by developing responsive
strategies.
- Graduation from three (3) year post
- secondary program in social sciences,
childhood studies/ education, or equivalent.
- Registered member in good standing with the
College of Early Childhood Educators
(RECE).
- Three (3) years of directly related experience.
- Well-developed knowledge of children’s
services sector.

**What we are offering**
This is a **temporary full-time** opportunity at the District for **up to 12 months**. The hourly compensation range
