This position is best suited for a dynamic entrepreneurial business executive who preferably brings knowledge of the agriculture industry, but more importantly executive level sales, marketing, and operations experience to the business.

THE ROLE

The President is responsible for overseeing the growth and development of the business, including providing direct support to the employees, building strong relationships, and driving excellence through quality products and a commitment to continuous operational improvements.

Working closely with the Board of Directors this role truly is the operational leader for the business, providing strategic marketing, financial, and business alignment to grow the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES / COMPETENCIES
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with all partners, stakeholders, and the Board;
- Leads the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations;
- Meets targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives;
- Proactively identify, recruit and onboard key positions to support business growth;
- Oversee and review proposals, quotations and pricings to partners;
- Financially diligent and tracking to a budget and ensure the company is profitable;
- Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship;
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates business needs on an ongoing basis;
- Provides leadership and guidance to the front-line operations to improve efficiencies;
- Drives adoption of company programs across employees, and partners;
- Builds and develops high performance teams
- Possesses Profit & Loss experience

PERFORMANCE METRICS
- Achieves sales and growth targets through effectively managing staffing, as well as financials;
- Meets assigned expectations for profitability;
- Develops partner account plans that meet company standards;
- Insure proper protocols and guidelines are followed for product registrations, industry compliance that will manage company liability;
- Maintains a high level of engagement with the Board;
- Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame;
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Minimum 7-10 years of executive experience in a sales, marketing or operations role;
- Experience in the agriculture arena would be considered an asset;
- Strong financial acumen;
- Demonstrated leadership and commit to process improvement;
- Ability to travel as needed throughout North America;
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a high-growth, start-up culture;
- Excellent communicator with strong presentation, speaking, and writing skills;
- Excellent market research and prospecting skills;
- The ability to coach on a solution and help establish selling/sales methodologies;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Degree from an accredited institution or equivalency: MBA would be an asset;
SALARY: $150,000.00 to $200,000.00 /year based on the qualifications

BONUS: To be discussed as part of the overall compensation package

EXPERIENCE: Executive Leadership: 7 -10 years (required)

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s or equivalent combination of education and experience

LOCATION: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan will be the base location based on company manufacturing facilities

CERTIFICATION: None required.

LANGUAGE: English - both written and oral (required)

TRAVEL: Occasional travel required, across North America, Middle East, Australia, Europe

**Salary**: $150,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
