The Business Program Analyst coordinates performance measures, data collection and leads quarterly reporting for the connectivity program portfolio in alignment with policy, OCIO standards and stakeholder communications requirements. They play an important role in administering the Connected Communities BC (CCBC) program, which has the goal of providing access to all households in BC to high-speed internet by 2027. The Business Program Analyst will work as part of the digital product team to document program business process, assess options for software development and sustainment, and participate in user centered design of digital products.

This position supports the Connectivity Division and information required by other Ministries, stakeholders and the Broader Public Sector in addition to developing and implementing new performance metrics and data visualization techniques to inform business decisions.

**Job Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in business, public administration or related field plus two (2) years’ *related experience; OR,
- Post-secondary diploma in business, public administration or related field plus three (3) years’ *related experience; OR,
- Certificate in business, public administration or related field plus four (4) years’ *related experience; OR,
- Post-secondary graduation or equivalent (e.g.: GED), and a minimum of five (5) years’ *related experience.

**Experience**:

- **Related experience must include all of the following**:

- Experience in business performance management best practices and evaluation methods.
- Experience with data and information collection, analysis processes and techniques.

**Preference**:
**Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following**:

- One (1) or more years’ experience in business planning and risk management concepts and approaches.
- One (1) or more years’ experience with business intelligence tools and techniques such as Power BI.
