Reporting to the Director, Community Fundraising, the Manager, Direct Marketing plays a crucial role in the ensuring the success of Holland Bloorview’s Annual Giving appeals and campaigns.

The Manager, Direct Marketing will lead on the planning and execution of individual appeals, that come together as part of a larger omni-channel portfolio of interconnected campaigns. This role will also ensure that best in class stewardship will be a part of all aspects of Holland Bloorview’s annual giving.

The Manager, Direct Marketing will be a part of Holland Bloorview’s communications and public engagement (CPE) team, which is comprised of both hospital and foundation colleagues. Working in collaboration, they build brand awareness, promote disability inclusion, and engage the community to support philanthropic giving to Holland Bloorview.

This role is hybrid in nature, with a combination of “work-from-home” and “on site as-needed” for in-person interviews, tours, team-building activities etc. Interested? Let's make it work. Our team members are empowered to take ownership of their schedules and workflows.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Direct & Digital Marketing _
- Monitor and evaluate campaign performance and provide critical analysis of donor data and strategies to improve performance
- Manage a pool of donors and strategically identify leadership and mid-level prospects
- Work closely with Senior Donor Database Administrator to ensure data integrity, identify data opportunities, ensure data is captured effectively and maintain integrity of list pulls and donor segmentation
- Monthly Giving _
- Manage Holland Bloorview’s growing monthly giving program through a combination of acquisition, cultivation, and stewardship activities
- Work alongside the Donor Experience Coordinator to support the administrative functions of the monthly giving program
- Tribute Giving _
- Execute marketing, cultivation, and stewardship strategies for Tribute Giving programs, including commemorative giving, and grateful family giving, with a goal of acquiring and retaining new donors
- Provide excellent stewardship for honorees and tribute donors
- Stewardship_
- Manage the annual giving stewardship strategy and oversee the Donor Experience Coordinator’s execution of stewardship activities that include: welcome packages, monthly giving reports, thank you letters, and organizing new and renewed donor thank you calls.
- Leadership _
- Work alongside the Director, Community Fundraising to ensure that Holland Bloorview’s direct marketing program aligns with the Foundation’s Daring Together 5-year strategic plan
- Supervise two direct reports (Donor Experience Coordinator and Administrative and Stewardship Assistant)
- Develop and track direct marketing budget, including evaluating cost effectiveness of all activities
- Analyze program performance against set key performance indicators and industry benchmarks, and make recommendations for future strategies
