**FRONT DESK CLERK (full-time, one year contract)**

The South Simcoe Police Service is looking to hire a full-time, one year contract Front Desk Clerk.

**SUMMARY OF DUTIES TO INCLUDE**:
Responsible for customer service, report taking, public requests, answering inquiries and clerical functions at the Front Desk in accordance with the Service’s policies and procedures.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, a strong work ethic and a strong desire to attain organizational goals and objectives. In addition, the successful applicant shall possess the following qualities:

- Previous administrative/clerical experience;
- High school diploma, or equivalent;
- Strong customer service skills;
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment;
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task;
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Typing (40 wpm)
- Please note selection may include several stages including testing and interview._
