**Qualifications**:

- Organization: Very organized with systematic approach task to achieve accuracy and efficiency
- Communication: Displays strong written and oral communication skills and employs effect listening skills
- Problem Solving: analyzes problems and makes sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risk, implications, and cost
- Interpersonal Skills: Tactful and mature demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with and manage diverse personalities while being a team player
- Highly Motivated: self-starting, highly motivated and goal oriented individual with the ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Proficiency in reading drawings - Structural, Architectural, Civil
- Proficiency in surveying and layout of buildings and all associated parts
- Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, and required standards applicable to discipline
- Excellent attention to detail with emphasis placed on quality
- Experience in a range of survey techniques and equipment
- Professionally and technically competent
- Post-secondary education or equivalent combinations of technical training plus commercial construction experience.
- Knowledge of Procore considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license required

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a safe working site meeting all company and MOL standards
- Perform carpentry tasks on site and lead site team by example
- Assist the Site Superintendent in coordinating and supervising all construction activities
- Assist in directing all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that confirms to original plans and specifications
- Communicate the project plans, blueprints and specifications
- Assist in preplanning all construction activities in order to seamlessly follow the project construction schedule
- Assist in planning, coordinating and conducting bi-weekly subcontractor progress meetings including recording and distributing meeting minutes
- Maintain a positive and respectful relationships with owners, engineers, architects, subcontractors, suppliers and other employees
- Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately
- Maintain an organized job site
- Perform and maintain all site and building layout

**Location**:
Welland, ON

**Hours**: 44 hours per week, as required by site
