**LOOKING FOR GATE CONTROL/CALL TAKER**

**Full time work (need someone who can start asap)**

Shift Timings -06:AM to 2:30 PM (MON-FRI)

**Requirements**:

- Must have a vehicle to access our property
- Must be fluent in French/English
- Must be Computer Literate

**SUMMARY**: Gate Control will be responsible for controlling all movements of trucks that are entering and exiting the terminal. The will communicate to Dock Supervisor to ensure proper placement of equipment for loading/unloading. The position will require assisting Montreal Dispatch with Customer Calls and Pick Up requests, help with scanning/imaging of documents into the system for dock unload.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -**

Maintain and Control the Gate Access, Arrive and Record all inbound and outbound trailer units in the web based W3 system and AS400
- Process all paperwork from Inbound drivers by recording verifying Carrier/Driver, Freight being received, destination of shipments
- Communicate with the Dock Supervisors to confirm trailer placement (Door or Yard)
- Call Customers for their Pick Ups that are to be completed by customers or external carriers
- Assist with the scanning/imaging of documents into the system for dock unload - Provide customers with professional and timely support on a variety of issues - Record/document all incidents to management
- Any other duties as assigned

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**:

- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of AS400 and MS Office programs, including Microsoft Excel and Access is required
- Excellent communication (English and French), and interpersonal skills are required
- Must be well organized and possess strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be flexible to changing priorities
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to assist others and go the extra mile
