The lead is the academic officer for all business programs and reports to the Education Manager with a dotted line reporting to the College's operations head. The lead oversees all academic programs and services within the Department of Business and provides intellectual and academic leadership to the faculty in matters related to curriculum, student excellence, and faculty and staff development.

The College has ambitious plans to maintain the highest levels of educational quality for students, and the Department of Business is well positioned to have a lead role in that effort. The lead will also work with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community to enhance and build external relations.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- **Master's Degree in Business**:

- **4-5 years teaching experience training a diverse student base**:

- **Experience in developing curriculum and scheduling**:

- **Abiity to work with Moodle and other student administration softwares**:

- Credentials and achievements that merit appointment as a tenured Lead in the Department of Business.
- Proven management with a record of success in academic administration.
- Evidence of successful involvement in development initiatives; ability to work effectively with college alumni.
- The demonstrated ability to encourage, develop, and evaluate teaching, and creative activity across the College.
- Evidence of strong communication and relationship-building skills and a demonstrated ability to establish long-term, strategic partnerships with key parties, including other academic units and leaders in the business community.
- An ability to establish culture and lead through organizational change.
- A demonstrated commitment to diversity, appreciation for a curriculum that is inclusive of diverse students and education for intercultural and global competency, and success in working within diverse communities.
- Demonstrated experience enhancing impact on the region of a current or former institution and prioritizing research that involves the local community.
- Experience supporting educational methods and approaches that cultivate a high level of student engagement, initiative, collaborative learning and research, and community outreach.

**Salary**: $66,137.00-$72,277.00 per year
