**Role Responsibilities**:

- The Public Service Commission has an exciting opportunity for an independent, motivated, strategic thinker on the Corporate Services team.
- The position reports to the Manager, Corporate Services, and is responsible for the timely and efficient development and implementation of the strategic business planning and reporting cycle for the PSC. As Lead of Business Planning and Reporting you will leverage your ability to collaborate and build relationships with ministry staff and other key stakeholders while fulfilling the following responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, implementation and maintenance of the department's planning and reporting framework to ensure that all elements of business/operational planning, including performance measurement, are integrated.
- Develop the PSC's Business Plan and Annual Report in accordance with established guidelines, standards, and timelines.
- Lead the development and execution of operational planning and quarterly reporting within the PSC, including developing process, guides and tools.
- Utilize strong political acumen to coordinate and prepare briefing materials for Committee of Supply and Public Accounts meetings.
- Provide reports, updates, and inputs to senior and executive leadership as required.
- Develop and maintain the PSC's Enterprise Risk Management program identifying risks and associated mitigations and strategies in alignment with standards defined by Treasury Board and Finance.
- Chair the PSC's Business Planning Committee, a role which includes delegating projects (such as operational planning) while developing relevant tools and resources and providing guidance and training for members.
- Lead projects without positional authority, ensuring cooperation and engagement between stakeholder areas.
