Bureau Veritas is looking for a
**Laboratory Analyst, Petroleum Lab
- Fulltime**

**DESCRIPTION**:

- Work safely and smartly in high-paced lab environment.
- Consistently produce reliable analytical test results in a timely fashion following Quality protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Perform analysis of petroleum products using a wide variety of test methods and operating equipment of varying degrees of sophistication in a safe and efficient manner.
- Collect samples from customer locations (includes refinery) using a company vehicle.
- Adhere to and maintain the Quality Management System & established Quality Control protocols.
- Accountable for the accuracy and precision of the data produced.
- Maintain the acceptable level of housekeeping in the Laboratory.
- Troubleshooting of equipment in the Laboratory.

**QUALIFICATION**:

- Diploma or degree in Chemistry or Chemical Technology from a post-secondary institution.
- One to two years of related experience would be an asset, but not required.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
- Must be computer literate with strong familiarity to Microsoft Office and database programs.
- Must be able to multi-task, which includes time management and communication.
- TAT centric and can re-arrange priorities to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Strong sense of urgency and the ability to adapt as needed
- Must be able to work as part of a team to meet customer requirements.

Monday to Friday biweekly rotating shift (6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.)

Or

Monday to Friday overnight rotation shift (10 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.)

Or

Thursday & Friday weekend rotation rotating (8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. / 12 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.) Saturday & Sunday (8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.)
