EMSL Analytical, one of the largest environmental testing firms in the United States, is currently seeking a Full Time **Laboratory Administrative Assistant **for its EMSL Canada Inc. location in Mississauga, a suburb of Toronto, ON. This is a support position to the entire laboratory, including the office manager, laboratory department managers and analysts. This position is full time and offers the chance to work with a steady, growing, company that offers the opportunity to advance within the organization.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
Receive and login samples for all laboratory divisions and ensure sample integrity to retained and the package not compromised.
Review sample paperwork to ensure accuracy of chain of custody.
Accept samples from walk-in customers and assist as needed.
Greet and assist walk-in clients.
Delivers incoming samples into the laboratory.
Ensures that laboratory has ability, capability, and capacity to analyze samples prior to log-in (With laboratory or department managers)
Enter samples into LIMS system and distribute samples to proper storage area to await analysis.
Create and send analytical reports to clients.
Other duties as assigned by manager.

**Requirements**:
High School Degree or equivalent.
Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Customer Service Experience is a plus.
Science Background is desirable i.e.: science education background or laboratory experience.
Must have excellent computer skills.
Must be proficient in MS Office especially Excel and typing.
Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clientele.
Willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
Must be able to prioritize work assignments.
Must be organized and have attention to detail.
Must be able to stand and sit for various lengths of time.

**Available Shift**:
Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

**Les responsabilités comprennent, sans s’y limiter**:
Recevez et connectez les échantillons pour toutes les divisions du laboratoire et assurez-vous que l’intégrité des échantillons est conservée et que l’emballage n’est pas compromis.
Examinez des exemples de documents pour vous assurer de l’exactitude de la chaîne de traçabilité.
Accepter les échantillons des clients sans rendez-vous et aider au besoin.
Accueillir et aider les clients sans rendez-vous.
Livrer les échantillons entrants au laboratoire.
S’assurer que le laboratoire a la capacité, la capacité et la capacité d’analyser les échantillons avant de se connecter (avec les gestionnaires de laboratoire ou de service)
Entrez les échantillons dans le système LIMS et distribuez-les dans la zone de stockage appropriée en attendant l’analyse.
Créer et envoyer des rapports analytiques aux clients.
Les tâches administratives comprennent : envoyer des courriels, numériser et télécopier des documents aux clients et répondre au téléphone.
Autres tâches assignées par le gestionnaire.

**Exigences**:
Diplôme d’études secondaires ou l’équivalent.
