Territory Sales Representative

BD Diesel Performance is looking for a Territory Sales Representative with a specialization in the automotive field. BD Diesel Performance is a progressive company known for creating innovative products for diesel-powered pickup trucks.
Our skilled team designs, manufactures, and distributes parts throughout North America. Located in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, BD's state-of-the-art facilities cover 95,000 square feet, and employs a team of over 150 highly-skilled individuals.

**About the Opportunity**
As a member of our sales team, you will be looking to broaden our customer base by providing great customer service directly to both wholesale distributors and end use customers. As a sales team member, you will be called upon to develop your territory through good old fashioned business development by developing contacts and building relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contacting current customers and identifying new products and potential up-selling.
- Responding to and processing incoming calls and orders.
- Opening new accounts.
- Developing customer base and sales leads by making cold and warm calls.
- Entering orders into system.
- Maintaining knowledge base on current products and learning about new products.
- Providing pricing quotations and follow-up on quotes.
- Provide quotations and product information.
- Troubleshooting [freight problems, expediting, etc ].
- Responding to inquiries.
- Identify, develop and close business opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3-4 year of sales experience.
- A background in selling industrial and commercial products is an asset. Product knowledge or automotive industry experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of solution selling vs. price.
- Strong business acumen and professional approach to offering effective services and solutions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
- CRM experience preferred.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
