**Receptionist/Administrative Assistant - Maternity Leave Contract Position**:

The company was established in 1957 by two brothers, Kenneth and Edmund Wong. For the past 64 years The Company continues to provide quality survey work to customers in the Burnaby/Vancouver area. With our office located in North Burnaby, we have established a well known reputation with loyal and long term customers who keep coming back to us for our professionalism and our quality of work. Our survey work includes projects for home renovations, large corporate buildings, and large development/construction companies.

This position will provide a wide variety of confidential and administrative services to assist the President/Owner. This individual must have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Day to day office duties and staff management
- Assisting with maintaining the daily project list and status updates
- Work closely with the Company’s president on confidential files and information
- Assist in answering the phone

**Qualifications**:

- 1+ years in an Administrative Assistant role is an asset but required
- Experience in a multi-tasking and diverse role
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong knowledge of Excel,Word, Outlook (MS Office) and Google Docs
- Strong communication and customer service skills - pleasant and professional phone etiquette
- Action oriented, able to work independently
- Positive, solution oriented attitude
- Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is an asset but not required

**Additional Information**:
Effective start date: May 20, 2024
Full Time position
Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday
